UPRIGHT AMMO BOX PREPRATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR DIGITAL CONTROL PANEL
Posistion the ammo box in an upright postiton with the hinged side as the top and the latch as the bottorm.
Remove the lid and set aside
Place the Top of Box Pattern on the top of box.
Place the template provided on the center line. Making sure the center of template is centered on the line.
Mark for the motor shaft and motor mounting studs.
Indent with a sharp awl.
Drill a 1/8" hole at each of the three indentations.
Using a drill press and a 1 3/16" hole bit make an openning for the motor shaft.
Using a 3/16" bit drill holes for the #10 mounting studs.
If you have purchased our mounting studs. Mark holes on each side of the container for mounting the side straps to the container, by using the mounting brackets as a pattern
Using the template pattern provided drill the two holes on the left side of the container to mount the control panel.
If you are going to prepare your container to hook up a solar panel drill the holes for the binding posts, by following the Solar Panel Accessory Kit Instructions .
File off all burs from the drilled holes both in and outside of container.
Clean and paint the container.
Install the side mounts and attach the mounting studs.
Install the binding posts by following the instructions and hook the wires to the binding posts.
Install the motor.
Install the control panel to the side of the left side of ammo box.
Connect the motor hook-up wire to the motor.
Connnect the battery hook-to the solar panel wire.
Follow the operation instructions to set the timer.
You are now ready to hook up the control panel to the battery.
